Desktop+ is a free steamVR overlay that you should definitely download because it gives you a better desktop mirror experience and let’s you tab out of apps easily so you can actually multitask, or look at multiple monitors. Valve has been adding more and more of its many functions over time but it’s still very useful. Second, it adds a lot of settings and utilities that are easy to toggle in-headset like a marker for the center of your play space that also tracks how tangled your cord is, or special keys like tab-out for the desktop view. This makes choosing settings and troubleshooting much easier. One, it adds an overlay on the back of your hand that tells you your frame times by GPU and CPU, as well as temps, in real time. This is a must have utility in my opinion which basically does two things. Games in italics are games that might just be worth it during a saleĪ quick recommendation at the start: fpsVR. Games in Bold are good for those insistent on “full games” in VR There are a ton of puzzle games, arcade games, and escape rooms in VR, so many. To any developers who read this, your game not being on the list doesn’t mean I have anything against it I may not have tried it or I felt like it wasn’t something I could recommend to a general audience. S o this is a list of the tech demos, programs, and games I am familiar with that I think people should check out.
